Take Action - POWs/Operation Higgins Petition
Provided by Volunteers for Operation Higgins.
We as a nation have an obligation to insure that the members of our armed forces
are protected by a statute which states in clear and concise language, that
* any member of the US or allied military on official business on behalf of
the US or an allied government,
* who is kidnapped, captured, arrested or detained against their will
* by agents of a hostile foreign nation, or by military forces of a hostile
foreign nation, or by paramilitary forces acting on behalf of or supported
by or protected by agents of a hostile foreign nation,
* shall be considered a Prisoner of War, and that the hostile foreign nation
shall be responsible for insuring that the POW is afforded all applicable protections
under international law.
What can you do today to make a difference, for our fighting men and women
of tomorrow?
Write, call or visit your elected officials and let them
know that you support a bill that would protect future American POWs.
Contact local government officials and encourage them to
support federal legislation that will protect their own sons and daughters
who may be called on to defend our nation.

Who funded the broadcasting of the following leftist statement concerning what
is known as the Rapture of the church to over 770 radio stations across the
United States? "The evaporation of 4 million [evangelicals] who believe
in this [Christian] crap would leave this world a better place." You paid
for it. In 2003, the government-owned Corporation for Public Broadcasting –
which funnels federal tax dollars to NPR -- received $363 million in new appropriations!

America can’t establish a national ideology any more than it can establish

Take Action - California Gay Marriage Undone
If you want to thank the
California Supreme Court for deciding in favor of the people's will by
rejecting gay marriage because it violates the California Family Code
write them today to say thank you and to encourage them to make the same
decisions in the future.. You can write:

TAKE ACTION - "New Civics" Education Curriculum
HR 1078 which creates a "New Civics" curriculum promoted as
a solution to our youth's lack of basic knowledge of our founding principles,
however, it advocates global government and global citizenship; derides
the Declaration of Independence and promotes the UN's Universal Declaration
of Human Rights. The words "national sovereignty" are never
used in the curriculum. Under the Tenth Amendment, the U.S. Constitution
forbids Congress from involving itself in education. Education is the
responsibility of the states alone. This bill stands as a direct threat
to the teaching of American values in our nation's public schools. For
these reasons: call the White House at 202-456-1111; your Representatives
202-224-3121 and Senators 202-224-3121 and tell them to oppose passage
of H.R. 1078.
