TAKE ACTION! - Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants: AgJOBS Amendment

A Senate vote is up this week which will grant amnesty to 500,000 to 1 million illegal immigrant farm workers, who have worked in the US for as few as 100 days, making them eligible to become permanent legal residents. Senator Larry Craig plans to introduce the AgJOBS bill (S. 359) as an amendment to the Iraq War supplemental bill. It is a welcome mat for illegals already here and and invitation for more to enter. If you want this amendment defeated, please take action:

Call Your Senator Today and urge a NO vote for the AgJOBS amendment.

TAKE ACTION! - Don't Starve to Death, 'Get a Will to Live'

Campaign for Children and Families (CCF), a leading West Coast nonprofit, nonpartisan educational organization representing children and families, is urging people to utilize the pro-life "Will to Live" form, found at www.savecalifornia.com, instead of the inhumane ethics frequently printed in the standard forms for living wills or health care directives.

For instance, California's Advance Health Care Directive form (found in California Probate Code, Section 4701) lumps together food and water in the same category as artificial machinery that keep the heart beating and the lungs working. This means Californians who use the standard Advance Health Care Directive form with the standard check-off boxes will likely be denied food and water, should they fall into a coma or become incapacitated.

TAKE ACTION! - Terri's Law

To participate contact your Congressmen and Senators, using the links under the seals above, and urge them to support Rep. Weldon's new bill, the "Disabled Person's Legal Protection Act" (Terri's Law), which would guarantee Terri Schiavo and others in similar situations the same constitutional protection of due process as death row inmates receive -- protections guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. (Terry is the young woman from Florida whose husband is pushing to have her feeding tube removed, despite her parents strong wishes to the contrary. He and his girlfriend have one child and another on the way). See Terri's fight:: http://www.terrisfight.org/

Please email info@changingworldviews.com and let us know you are TAKING ACTION! on these important items. Thank you!
