Governor Schwarzenegger signed SB 777 that bans “promoting discriminatory bias” against homosexual, transsexuals, bisexuals and transgenders in public schools. Pro-family groups explain this new law will result in reverse discrimination against religious students and those with traditional family values. Capitol Resource Family Impact filed a referendum to prevent the implementation of SB 777.

TAKE ACTION! - H.R.3093 Free Border Agents Ramos and Compean.
Sponsored by Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas, and co-sponsored by Reps. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., and Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., the amendment is aimed at prohibiting the federal government from spending any federal funds to keep Ramos and Compean imprisoned.

Agents Ramos and Compean are currently serving 11- and 12-year prison sentences for wounding a drug smuggler running more than 750 pounds of marijuana across the border.
