Ok...on the high end, there are laminate veneers and lumineers, that cost between $600-$1000/tooth. Or you can get your dentist to treat that smile with a whitening system...also costly. Or there are company's like Brite Smile, that charge you $600 for a 2-4 hour session that should last for 2-4 years...(I don't recommend this, it's painful and didn't last a year for me).
So what is there for the average lady wanting her smile to look its best? Well, the whitening strips work well and are economical. Or...you can try a few homemade tooth whiteners...
Note: Tooth whitening is beneficial for healthy unrestored teeth (no fillings). Tooth whiteners are not recommended for children under the age of 13. Tooth whiteners may not be effective for all types of discoloration. The following cases will not be benefited:
-Dark gray dental stains
-Congenital discoloration (from birth)
-Tooth colored fillings
-Stains due to some medication such as tetracycline may require long treatment up to 6 months.
-Crowns or denture teeth
In general, yellowish teeth bleach better than those considered to be brownish in color.
Now, for the Homemade Tooth Whitening:
Tooth Whitener - 1
Baking soda, 1 teaspoon
Hydrogen peroxide, a few drops
Mix the two ingredients and use as a paste on your teeth and gums two times a week.
Tooth Whitener - 2
Baking soda, 3 teaspoon
Table salt, 1 teaspoon
Mix the two ingredients and use as a tooth powder.
Tooth Whitener - 3
After brushing your teeth with a regular whitening toothpaste, gargle with some fruit grade hydrogen peroxide and rinse with water or brush again with a toothpaste.
Tooth Whitener - 4
INGREDIENTS:
3-6 ripe strawberries
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup water
1. Puree the berries in a blender and pour into a small dish.
2. Using a cosmetic brush or your toothbrush, paint the strawberry paste on your teeth and let sit on teeth for 5 minutes.
3. Mix 1 teaspoon of the baking soda and the cream of tartar into the cup of water. Swish this mixture around in your mouth.
4. Brush your teeth with the teaspoon of plain baking soda.
5. Rinse with cool, clear water.
Whatever you choose...will surely make you crack that smile more often!

"It is great that America has been able to help so many other nations. It has been able to do so because it was first taking care of its own families and citizens. Now, in a time where we are facing an economic crisis, it is time to once again look at investing in America, so it can continue to help others as well. Thank you Sharon for showing ways Americans can support America during its time of weakness." -Scott Brown
