You've probably heard of the 'Beast of Burden', or perhaps the 'Mark of the Beast', and most likely 'Beauty and the Beast'. But have you ever heard of the 'Beast of Kandahar'?
Well give an ear here...
The RQ-170 Sentinel is a creation of Lockheed Martin's Advanced Development Program, and was dubbed 'Beast of Kandahar' by veteran aviation expert Bill Sweetman. He describes the wingspan as being about 80 feet, and notes "One important detail: the overwing fairings are not B-2-like inlets, but cover some kind of equipment - satcoms on one side, perhaps, and a sensor on the other."
Now that's a BIG birdie...
The Beast's designation signifies an unarmed drone instead of the armed Predator UAV which has been utilized numerous times to launch missiles at terrorist sites on the AfPak border. But the craft apparently has "a deep, fat center-body" so...you never know what 'goodies' it can carry for our Persian 'friends'...
So here's hoping the Beast has taken (and will continue to take) a bite out of the Islamofascists' clandestine arsenal by taking a peak at the works...for the sake of freedom-loving people everywhere.
Shalom through strength...and HOOAH!!
Here's part of what Peter said:
The Enhanced Interrogation Program
Only three of these individuals were subjected to the final interrogation stage of
1) One of these was Khalid Sheik Mohammad (KSM), who was the operational mastermind behind the September 11, 2001 attacks. KSM was captured by Bush Administration officials in Pakistan with the help of that nation’s government. Even before his capture, the CIA considered him to be one of al Qaeda’s “most important leaders…based on his relationship with Usama Bin Laden and his reputation among the
2) A second detainee subjected to waterboarding was Abu Zubaydah. Before his capture, Zubaydah was “one of Usama Bin Laden’s key lieutenants,” third or fourth highest ranking member of Al Qaeda.10 He was involved in every major operation carried out by Al Qaeda, including 9/11.11
3) The third detainee subjected to waterboarding was Abd Al-Rahim Al-Nashiri. He is reportedly the mastermind behind the bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 U.S. sailors in October, 2000. He is reported to have received personal approval of his bombing plan and cash to carry it out from bin Laden himself.
Truth stands up under any investigation.
The above picture was sent to me via email from the re-enlistment ceremony held on July 4th in Baghadad...a few years ago.
It was the largest re-enlistment ever held in military history. The ceremony was held at Al Faw Palace, Baghdad, Iraq. General David Petraeus officiated. Yet, this amazing story was ignored by the "mainstream" media.
A pizzeria in Chicago donated 2000 pizzas that were made and shipped to Baghdad, and were delivered on the 4th. The media did report that 2000 pizzas were sent to Iraq on July 4th, but not what for -- the only part they left out of the report was the event for which the pizzas were sent.
American men and women volunteered to stay longer in Iraq, so that when we leave, the new democracy will have a chance of surviving.
But today, in 2009, re-enlistments are down.
Why? Well how about the effects from the rhetoric coming out of this administration, e.g. recent Homeland Security Dept.'s assessment of veterans "vulnerable to right-wing extremists"; or suggesting veterans pay for their own medical treatment for wartime wounds; or the removal of bonuses for re-enlisting? Couple all this with uncertainty of mission execution, and you're going to see a decrease in re-enlistments, as well as in new recruits.
This is certainly change...but is it part of the the change many hoped it would be.
Nope, I don't think so.
The War on Terror encompasses the world as it is fought on many levels. The obvious are terrorists attacks such as occurred on September 11, 2001 in America; the war in Iraq and Afghanistan; suicide bombings in Israel, as well as violence and harrassment in the streets of non-war zones...such as in Sweden.
The following article is from the Insider Report at NewsMax.com. NewsMax is one of my favorite sources for the latest inside news.
A few years ago, the left-wing London Guardian newspaper called Sweden the most successful society the world has ever known. But Sweden today is being rocked by a large influx of Muslim immigrants and the growth of radical Islam.
Malmo is Sweden 's 3rd largest city and a major epicenter of the Islamization of Europe. Wide-open immigration policies have changed Sweden and have made Malmo, which is now one-quarter Muslim, one of the most racially divided cities in Europe.
Most Muslim immigrants are concentrated in one district, where the male unemployment rate is 82 percent. Crime affects one of three families in the city and rape has tripled in 20 years, according to the Christian Broadcasting Network.
In one housing project in the district, fire and emergency workers will no longer enter without police protection.
Malmo has been so accommodating toward immigrant Muslims that a local Muslim politician and imam has even declared, "The best Islamic state is Sweden !"
But Malmo's Jews won’t give the city the same glowing assessment. Jews who dare to walk the streets wearing yarmulkes on their heads risk being beaten up.

Have you thought about, been amazed and grateful about the fact that since 9/11 there has not been another terrorist attack on America? (And dare I say under Pres. George W. Bush's watch?)
The following is a list of known terror plots thwarted by the U.S. government since Sept. 11, 2001, put together by Joseph Abrams and Jonathan Passantino, published by FOX News.com.

• June 2007, JFK Plot: Four men are accused of plotting to blow up fuel arteries that run through residential neighborhoods at JFK Airport in New York
• September 2007, German authorities disrupt a terrorist cell that was planning attacks on military installations and facilities used by Americans in Germany. The Germans arrested three suspected members of the Islamic Jihad Union, a group that has links to Al Qaeda and supports Al Qaeda's global jihadist agenda.
Speaks for itself.
Pat Robertson, President of CBN, has suggested that he believes 2009 will see more and more adherents of Islam become increasingly disgusted with the voilence and bloodshed by jihadist groups and will begin to look for God in other places. A few days later the following very interesting story was aired on FOX News.
What is stronger than hate and bloodshed?
FOX NEWS: While Israel and Hamas engage in "all-out war" in the Gaza Strip, a FOX News documentary tells an extraordinary story of faith, courage, violence, betrayal and conversion.
Correspondent Jonathan Hunt's investigation goes deep inside Hamas, through a series of stunning exclusive interviews with the son of a founding member of the Islamic terrorist group. Mosab Hassan himself became the leader of the radical Islamic Youth Movement, fought Israeli tanks and troops in the streets, celebrated suicide bombings and recruited young men to the cause.
But that all changed when Mossab says he realized the true nature of Hamas and radical Islam, during a stint in an Israeli prison. He converted to Christianity and now -- despite an Al Qaeda death sentence hanging over him -- he speaks out for the first time about Hamas, an organization he says betrays the Palestinian cause, tortures its own members and will never honor any ceasefire with Israel.

Fighting the war on terror at home and abroad includes exposing this...
William Ayers' Letter to his "sisters and brothers" of the Underground
Sisters and brothers,
Here is PRAIRIE FIRE, our political ideology - a strategy for anti-imperialism and revolution inside the imperial US. It comes out of our own practice of the last five years and reflects a diversity of experiences. This paper is not the product of one or two people, nor even a small handful of us. Rather PRAIRIE FIRE represents the politics and collective efforts of an organization. It has been the focus of our study groups and our political education. It has been chewed on and shaped in countless conversations, struggles and written pages. It has travelled around the country, growing, developing thru the attempt to understand the shape of world forces and the revolutionary possibilities before us. The paper was rewritten four times and collectively adopted as the political statement of the Weather Underground. The twelve-month process of writing PRAIRIE FIRE, squeezed between on-going work and practice and action, has now reached a kind of end-point. A cycle is done.
We undertook this analysis to explain the changes in US and world conditions since the Vietnam ceasefire and to evaluate the consequences of the Vietnamese victory. We have come some distance in evaluating the political situation, the priorities for revolutionary work since we began this writing. Now many more revolutionaries will need to shape and change the paper. The politics cannot be realized unless and until the content of the program is activated in thousands of situations, among thousands of people in the coming period. PRAIRIE FIRE will be a growing thing.
We hope the paper opens a dialectic among those in the mass and clandestine movements; we hope people will take PRAIRIE FIRE as seriously as we do, study the content and write and publish their views of the paper as well as their analysis of their own practice. We will respond as best we can.
Our movement urgently needs a concrete analysis of the particular conditions of our time and place. We need strategy. We need to battle for a correct ideology and win people over. In this way we create the conditions for the development of a successful revolutionary movement and party. We need a revolutionary communist party in order to lead the struggle, give coherence and direction to the fight, seize power and build the new society. Getting from here to there is a process of coming together in a disciplined way around ideology and strategy, developing an analysis of our real conditions, mobilizing a base among the US people, building principled relationships to Third World struggle, and accumulating practice in struggle against US imperialism.
PRAIRIE FIRE is written to communist-minded revolutionaries, independent organizers and anti-imperialists; those who carry the traditions and lessons of the struggles of the last decade, those who join in the struggles of today. PRAIRIE FIRE is written to all sisters and brothers who are engaged in armed struggle against the enemy. It is written to prisoners, women's groups, collectives, study groups, workers' organizing committees, communes, GI organizers, consciousness-raising groups, veterans, community groups and revolutionaries of all kinds; to all who will read, criticize and bring its content to life in practice. It is written as an argument against those who oppose action and hold back the struggle.
PRAIRIE FIRE is based on a belief that the duty of a revolutionary is to make the revolution. This is not an abstraction. It means that revolutionaries must make a profound commitment to the future of humanity, apply our limited knowledge and experience to understand an ever-changing situation, organize the masses of people and build the fight. It means that struggle and risk and hard work and adversity will become our way of life, that the only certainty will be constant change, that the only possibilities are victory or death.
We have only begun. At this time, the unity and consolidation of anti-imperialist forces around a revolutionary program is an urgent and pressing strategic necessity. PRAIRIE FIRE is offered as a contribution to this unity of action and purpose. Now it is in your hands.

Last week, in the small chapel where George Washington attended after his inauguration, which is near Ground Zero and the most extensive September 11th museum in New York City, millions will file through to view photos, videos and remnants from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on America and the close to year-long cleanup of that evil deed.
Today, vowing to put aside presidential politics, and rightfully so, senators John McCain and Barack Obama are in New York to attend 9/11 memorial services, and later a forum in public service at Columbia University.
Earlier in the day in Pennsylvania John McCain asked every person "to be as good an American" as the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93. And Barack Obama on the campaign trail asked Americans to "renew that spirit of service and that sense of common purpose" that followed the 9/11 attacks.
It is hard to believe that it's been seven years since Islamic terrorists flew planes into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and into the fields of Pennsylvania. But it is not hard to believe that those attacks have changed America forever.
'Evil" is a word that we have come to understand as a nation as never before.
No one was surprised, nor did we hear the politically correct police complain, when pastor Rick Warren asked both presidential candidates at the Saddleback Civil Forum last month, "Does evil exist? And if it does, do we ignore it? Do we negotiate with it? Do we contain it? Do we defeat it?"
In modernist fashion John McCain answered, "Defeat it," and then cited radical Islamic terrorists. In post-modern fashion Barack Obama said that it exists in many places, such as Darfur and our own neighborhoods, and that it's "God's task" to rid the world of evil.
One thing is for sure, for modernists and post-modernists alike, Americans have all been affected by the events of 9/11. Some are still mourning. And sadly, some have 'forgotten' what was behind what happened.
But, laying that debate aside for now...
This year on 9/11 all Americans should pause and remember not only what happened, but the lives and families that were shattered.
This year all Americans should be grateful for the service, dedication and even lives given, of the first responders to rescue victims from the Twin Towers.
This year all Americans should remember how we united, regardless of political or worldview leanings, as we realized we had a common enemy who not only disagrees with us, but hates us and wants to destroy us.
This year we need to be United in Memory, vowing to forgive, but not to forget, so that we can see clearly ahead in what has now become a war on terror.
And...This year on 9/11 we should stop and pray for the victims of 9/11 and their families, and to express our memories and emotions in constructive ways -- by serving our fellow Americans in ways that make a difference in their lives.
May God continue to Bless America.

According to Erick Stakelbeck, Terrorism Analyst, CBN News fleets of computer savvy, Al-Qaeda cyber-hackers that are attempting to attack our financial infrastructures to steal information and cripple us economically; and Russia and China hacking into our computer systems as a form of electronic espionage.
President Bush keeps reminding us that failure is not an option in Iraq if Americans want to be safe at home. But there are some among us who still don't get it.
For example: On NBC's "Today Show, Sen. Barack Obama said, "We're not going to baby sit a civil war." Sen. Dick Durbin(D) is heralding the idea that "questions are now being asked of this administration that haven't been asked for almost four years."
Meanwhile, the U.S. Embassy in Athens was attacked by a rocket that police said was probably carried out by a domestic terror group.
And a video was posted on the Web that shows members of an Islamic insurgent group preparing and launching four rockets at a U.S. military base near Samarra, Iraq. The members of the militant group are wearing gas masks while filling the rockets with a black chemical, then taken into the field and fired.

On September 23, 2008 speaking to the UN in New York City, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attacked the U.S. again declaring the "American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road." And accused "a few bullying powers" of trying to stop his country's nuclear programs.
Also, as FOX News reported: "With major world leaders watching and just eight hours after President Bush's final speech before the general assembly, Ahmadinejad used the U.N. platform to decry a "zionist regime" for what he called a persecution on Arab peoples around the globe."
And a group has formed, StopAhmadinejadRally, to protest a religious group meeting honoring Ahmadinejad while he is here this week: On Thursday, September 25, at 6:00 pm in New York City at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, The American Friends Service Committee, Mennonite Central Committee, Quaker UN Office, Religions for Peace, and the World Council of Churches-UN Liaison Office will be “honoring”Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at an Iftar (dinner to break the day’s Ramadan fast). Other organizations, political leaders and the media have also been invited.
Here's the text of the invitation:
An invitation to an international dialogue between religious leaders and political figures:
“Has not one God created us?”
The significance of religious contributions to peace
It is an honor to invite you to participate with religious, cultural, and political leaders in a conversation about the role of religions in tackling global challenges and building peaceful societies at an Iftar – a dinner to break the Ramadan fast.
In the presence of
§ His Excellency Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
With contributions from
§ His Excellency Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann, President of the General Assembly of the United Nations
§ His Excellency the Rev. Kjell Bondevik, former Prime Minister of Norway and President of the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights
§ and distinguished religious leaders
This conversation is the fourth in a series of high-level bridge-building and reconciliation efforts that have helped to build mutual understanding between our peoples, nations and religious traditions. It is our hope that as religious and political leaders, this communal meal and exchange of views will enable us to explore faith perspectives for dealing with global issues such as poverty, war and prejudice while deepening mutual understanding.
The dinner will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 109 East 42nd Street, New York, N.Y., on Thursday, September 25, 2008, beginning with evening prayers from several religious traditions. Please arrive by 6:00 pm to clear security. Following dinner and presentations, the moderator will open the floor for comments and discussion.
Please note, entrance to this event is by limited invitation only. Some members of the media have been invited to cover the event.
RSVP by e-mail to sept25@us.mcc.org no later than Monday, September 15, 2008, confirming you interest in participation and sending us your mailing address. After confirmation of your participation, we will send a card explaining procedures for entry to the event.

While the religious left panders to Ahmadinejad, and the Hillary Clinton/Barack Obama team plays political chess causing Sarah Palin to be disinvited to speak to this group on Ahmadinejad (see full text of the speech she was going to deliver), the rest of us watch (in amazement?) at the complete loss of discernment of those who consider themselves leaders.

According to the producers of a new documentary movie, "The Third Jihad", which will be opening coast to coast in a limited theatrical release this week, it's a movie created to help viewers understand and appreciate the danger we face in America from radical Islam.
The national release of the film will include screenings in four California cities -- Oct 6th and 9th in Los Angeles, Oct 8th in Santa Ana and San Diego and Oct 13 in Sacramento.
Here's what some people have to say about the movie:
“The Third Jihad" depicts what everyone in America needs to remember - that there is no greater threat to our freedom today than radical Islamic terrorism." -Rudy Giuliani
“The Third Jihad" should be considered a clarion call for Western Civilization. We either heed the warning or go silently into the night of another dark age.” -Congressman Tom Tancredo
After the FBI releases a radical Islamist manifesto describing how to weaken America from within, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim American and former physician to the US Congress, decides to investigate. "The Third Jihad" is about what he discovered.
How is radical Islam operating inside the West? Is a subversive "cultural jihad" underway? How does radical Islam plan to bring America to its knees? What is the endgame?
"The Third Jihad" alerts viewers about the danger radical Islam poses to the United States and to Western civilization as a whole and spotlights radical Islam's anti-democratic agenda as well as its systematic human and civil rights abuses against women, blacks, homosexuals, Christians and moderate Muslims.
he film focuses on radical Islam's campaign to dominate America and the West, and the ramifications of such a reality on our day-to-day lives.
WorldNetDaily reports: The names of four former top leaders of the Weathermen terrorist organization are listed as signatories on an online petition calling for an "independent grassroots effort" to help strengthen Sen. Barack Obama's campaign.
The petition was initiated by Progressives for Obama, an independent organization acting to ensure the Illinois senator's election.
Progressives includes among its ranks many former members of the 1960s radical organization Students for a Democratic Society, or SDS, from which the Weathermen splintered, as well as current and former members of other radical organizations, such as the Communist Party USA and the Black Radical Congress.
Among the names signed onto the petition are former Weathermen leaders Howard Machtinger, Jeff Jones, Steve Tappis and Mark Rudd.
Obama's association with Ayers is not going away.
